Is Bacne causing you problems? In the run up to summer, there’s only one thing on our minds – making sure our body is beach ready. For Bacne (back acne) sufferers, the thought of wearing swimsuits or summery outfits is not a pleasant one. So here are three expert views on how you can fight the acne on your back once and for all.
Doctors suggest looking for a possible trigger for your acne. From Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) to your diet, a simple blood test could identify the problem. The solution? Your doctor may prescribe you acne cream, oral antibiotics or a combined oral contraceptive.
If your acne is the result of a hormone imbalance, rather than anything genetic, you may be advised to moisturise with an antiseptic cream to get rid of any lurking bacteria and stop any sebum from getting trapped under the surface layer of your skin. Sun exposure can be useful to help heal acne but remember to use adequate sunscreen to protect your skin from the sun’s damaging UV rays.

If you suffer from frequent breakouts, your diet may hold the answer. Dairy products are known for making acne worse so try to cut these out and see if it makes a difference.
