Face lifts for men continue to rise
03 January 2012Plastic surgery clinics in Queensland, Australia, have seen a continued rise in the number of men opting for face lift surgery. A spokesman for the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr Mark Magnusson, said: “There have always been men getting [face lift surgery] done.” He added that while the demand had risen in recent months, men had already been a notable presence in cosmetic surgery clinics, often opting for Botox and other non-surgical procedures as well as cosmetic surgery such as face lifts and blepharoplasty.Dr Mark Magnusson added: “Eyelid surgery is probably the most common surgery men get. “There is also rhinoplasty or nose surgery and body contouring following massive weight loss. And there is gynaecomastia surgery,” Dr Magnusson added.
