Figures for the future
06 February 2009The last year and a half has been a strange time for many people, all this financial doom and gloom has been unsettling to say the least, and it doesn't look like there's going to be a quick fix. Instead it seems to me like we're all going to have to work that little bit harder and be extra careful for the foreseeable future. Our 2008 figures brought home to me just how different things have been recently. For example we saw more and more city bankers revitalising their looks for a changing job market and at the same time there were fewer city types visiting us with their bonuses. The biggest growth area we found was in nose jobs, eye bag removal and face lifts but we reckon that it's the non-surgical procedures that are really going to boom this year. I think 2009 is going to be a time when people don't want to wait around - they might be feeling like there's too much of that going on already - and they're going to be looking for ways to make improvements while still saving money. We want to make sure people feel and look their best no matter what life throws at them - so this year we're happy to be bringing out new non-surgical products like the Obagi Blue Chemical Peel and new treatments for removing stretch marks. It may feel like we're under a cloud at the moment (and snow), but I'm sure there are brighter times ahead and we just have to keep putting our best foot forward.
