Going make-up free for two days a week could give you healthier and younger looking skin

With many women working and enjoying a vibrant social life it can be difficult to avoid wearing make-up, but experts have recommended that women should go make-up free for at least two days a week.
Experts suggest that going make-up free for two days a week could give you healthier and younger looking skin within four weeks. It gives skin cells a chance to regenerate and form new cells which reduces the risk of wrinkles forming. Make-up often contains chemicals which can irritate the skin and clog pores which cause them to appear bigger.
Dr Esho, Skin Specialist said: âGood skin starts from below your foundation. Overuse of make-up without appropriate breaks can accelerate the ageing process by damaging elastin and collagen, resulting in fine lines and ageing. â
It is recommended that make-up should be removed with an appropriate cleanser and toner and if make-up wipes are used the face should be washed thoroughly in the morning.
