Nose close-upAs she adjusts to life out of the swimming pool, Olympic gold medallist Rebecca Adlington has spoken of the emotional time she endured while participating in the recent series of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here. She also expressed her sadness to Judith Woods of the Daily Telegraph that a long discussion which she had with fellow contestant, Miss Universe Great Britain, Amy Willerton, on body image – which saw Adlington burst into tears – was edited from what was seen on Channel4 viewers' screens."They edited so much out of what was a long discussion, which was a shame," Adlington said. "The truth of the matter is that all the girls were talking about the pressures on women in the spotlight and it wasn’t just a case of me versus Amy.” And she also tells Woods that she has considered having a 'nose job', admitting that she still received abuse on social media website Twitter about her appearance. "There's nothing wrong with wanting to make the best of yourself," said the sports star, who is now spearheading a national initiative to teach three to 11-year-olds how to swim. One final media-related ambition she confided to Woods is that she'd love to be asked to appear on The Great British Bake-Off.
