Gordon Ramsay reveals further cosmetic treatment
30 October 2009Gordon Ramsay has revealed that he has undergone more cosmetic surgery after making it big in the United States. Sky News reports that the celebrity chef has taken the advice of Simon Cowell to have plastic surgery to fill out the distinctive grooves in his chin. As he becomes a household name in the United States, Gordon decided to take action to look his best. He explains: "My mother said they were smile lines. I could deal with that at 21, but not at 42. "Simon Cowell suggested that now I'm a success in America, I should do something, so I had a filler put under the deep crevices." The tough-talking chef has previously undergone Botox treatment to smooth out wrinkles in his face, and has confirmed that he will use Botox again following his discussions with Cowell. Gordon's wife Tana has faced press criticism after deciding to appear on ITV's Dancing on Ice, but Gordon is dismissive. He explains: "Already jibes have started - she's called 'Clingon', 'Gordon's little limpet'. "Holy mackerel! Some women columnists are much more vicious than men. Bitter. Vindictive. "But Tana's resilient, a young mum of 34 who dedicated eight years to bringing up our children brilliantly. I'm looking forward to her dancing because her buttocks are so firm it's like clinging to a six-pack." Gordon also confirmed that media rumours of an affair have only made the couple "incredibly closer with the support of friends like David and Victoria [Beckham] and our families."
