Heather Locklear's highly anticipated return to Melrose Place ten years on has caused speculation that the star's youthful appearance may be a result of cosmetic surgery or non surgical procedures. Heather has stunned fans by retaining a youthful physique throughout her 40s. The Plastic Surgery Channel reports that Heather was rumoured to have had breast augmentation in the 80s, but suggests that the 48-year-old's youthful visage may be a result of non surgical solutions such as facial fillers and Botox.Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer has also speculated that Heather may have had a face lift. Dr Shafer told Make Me Heal: "She appears to have had Botox and fillers. Her neck/jawline also looks improved which may indicate and surgical procedure such as facelift or neck lift." Over her impressive career, Heather has received six Golden Globe nominations for her television work, four of which were for her role in Melrose Place. Whether her youthful beauty is due to cosmetic surgery or not, Heather is sure to stun a new generation of fans when she reprises her role as the scheming advertising executive Amanda Woodward in the remake of the popular prime-time soap opera, currently airing in the US on the CW network. The network has not revealed how many episodes of Melrose Place Heather is scheduled to appear in, but it is believed that her return - along with fellow former cast members Laura Leighton and Thomas Calabro - will help to boost the show's flagging ratings.
