SlapThe amount of time people spend making sure their face retains its youth means the hands can sometimes be forgotten. A recent study by Babble – the entertainment website – shows there are several ways in which individuals can keep their hands looking young and healthy. The first tip is to keep them clean. Pollution from the air and water, as well as dirt and grime from items that are touched throughout the day, can make the skin on the hands look dull and old. Pollution can also encourage the development of fine lines and wrinkles, and dehydrate the skin. Washing regularly is essential. According to the study: “Exfoliating your skin is the easiest way to restore your skin's youthful appearance. It revitalises your skin and evens tone and texture.” It recommends using a natural scrub made with sea salt, oatmeal or something similar. The third tip is to keep hands nourished – a key to keeping them looking young is moisturiser. The hands are no different to any other part of the body in this regard; a great lotion can create a drastic improvement in appearance. Similarly, do not miss out the backs of the hands when applying sun lotion.
