Kate Beckinsale sparks new cosmetic surgery rumours
05 May 2010British star Kate Beckinsale has made a big impact on international audiences with her roles in a number of Hollywood blockbusters over the past decade, and experts believe her stunning looks may have been enhanced with cosmetic surgery. The 36-year-old actress has previously been rumoured to have had a number of plastic surgery procedures to boost her looks, with celebrity news website Make Me Heal reporting that she may have had everything from breast implants to teeth whitening, fat grafting, cheek or chin implants and fillers like Restylane to plump up her lips. Although none of these rumours were substantiated, Kate's possible cosmetic surgery has become a hot topic again, when she appeared at a recent red carpet event with a noticeably refreshed appearance that leading plastic surgeons believe may be due to non-invasive cosmetic surgery. Dr Paul A Nassif told Make Me Heal: "Kate Beckinsale may have had a filler such as Restylane injected into her lips. If so, it was performed conservatively as she does not appear overdone. In addition, she may have had facial fillers and Botox." Another surgeon, Dr Michael Salzhauer, agreed that Kate may have used wrinkle relaxing treatments, stating: "Her skin looks incredibly smooth through which is most likely from Botox. Her nasolabial folds, or laugh lines are significantly smoother which was most likely corrected using dermal fillers." The surgeon also observed that Kate's new look may be simply down to a change in hair and make-up. He said: "Kate proves how significant an effect a different hairstyle and makeup can have on your look."
