Katie Price swaps IVF treatments for Botox

Katie Price has again turned to non surgical treatments in order to boost her appearance after opting to stop IVF treatments over the coming months as she puts her plans to extend her family on hold, the Daily Star reports. Although a fan of cosmetic surgery, having previously had multiple treatments including boob jobs and dermal fillers, the former glamour model had chosen to avoid further appearance-enhancing treatments while undergoing IVF treatments. But after two unsuccessful attempts, the mum of three has decided to take a break from the gruelling fertility boosting regimen. Katie explained that she and husband Alex Reid, who recently turned to laser hair removal, had mutually agreed to end IVF with the starlet. She said: "I've tried it twice. It's quite a struggle on your body. You have to go through quite a lot." Katie also candidly told Eamonn Holmes that she felt that she regularly turned to Botox and dermal fillers as she was "getting on a bit" and needed all the help she could get to maintain a youthful appearance. The former model spoke as she was launching her third perfume, Precious Love, which features the tattoo she and ex-husband Peter Andre had inked to mark their marriage. Peter Andre has since turned to tattoo-removing cosmetic surgery in order to successfully remove Katie's first name from his ring-finger, despite being concerned about the risk of scarring. Conscious that tattoo removal can often cause extensive scarring that may only be properly remedied by scar removal treatments, Peter explained that he was initially wary of undergoing tattoo removing surgery, confessing, "I didn't want to have scars all over my hands."
