Kelly Brook finds the thought of ageing 'terrifying'
18 October 2012Model and actress Kelly Brook has admitted that she finds the thought of getting older "terrifying". Speaking to Look magazine, the 32-year-old, who grew up in Kent, said because her career so far has been based mainly on her appearance, she makes sure she concentrates on maintaining her looks and doing what she can to fight the signs of ageing. She said: "It's pretty terrifying. But I guess the great thing about getting older is you can approach life in a confident way, as you're more experienced." Brook began modelling at the age of 16 and went on to become one of Britain's top swimwear and lingerie models. She has also worked extensively on television, starring in and hosting shows such as Strictly Come Dancing, Britain's got Talent and Chanel 4's morning show The Big Breakfast. When it comes to eating, Brook sticks to the mantra "everything in moderation", although the star admitted she has cut sugar out of her diet. She said as well as eating healthily, a comprehensive skincare regime was vital. "Facials are important," she added. "I have a massage and cleanse every three weeks. "I use Linda Meredith and Yonka skincare ranges. They're quite expensive, but I think it's important to invest in good-quality products and ingredients."
