Kerry's breast reduction completed without a hitch

Reality TV star Kerry Katona has successfully completed her recent bout of cosmetic surgery.

It was revealed last month that Katona was set to undergo 15,000 worth of surgery, including a breast reduction and liposuction. The procedures were filmed by MTV, as part of a new documentary revolving around the celebrity, entitled 'Whole Again'.

The surgery, which is said to have lasted eight hours in total, saw Katona's famously large breasts go down from a GG cup to DD.

In addition to breast surgery and liposuction, the former Atomic Kitten singer was also said to undergo treatment to remove her stretch marks.

Before her breast reduction, the 27-year-old was said to remark: "After four kids, I need it. I'm a GG at the moment, and when I take my bra off my nipples are by my feet. I want to be a DD instead."

After the procedure, Katona told the Daily Mirror: "I feel great. I'm delighted with the way I look and the way it feels. The results are amazing."

Her publicist, Max Clifford, added: "She's really happy with how everything's gone."

In August, Katona was declared bankrupt by the High Court in London when she failed to pay a tax bill of over 100, 000.

According to the Irish Independent, the number of women opting for breast reduction surgery has increased by 33 per cent in the last five years.

In addition, research from the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) also details a 27 per cent rise in male chest reduction operations between 2006 and 2007.
