Reality TV superstar Khloe Kardashian says she's firmly in favour of plastic surgery and that she's prepared to shout about it from the rooftops.
Khloe, who recently became the face of Kybella's Live Chin Up campaign, offered her support for people who decide to go under the knife and flatly rejected suggestions that she was in any way against cosmetic surgery.
- However you change your appearance, it's all the same to Khloe
In a recent interview with lifestyle mag Cosmopolitan, the 31-year-old said she couldn't see much difference between having cosmetic surgery and putting make-up on - neither option was more artificial than the other, she observed.
"I think plastic surgery should be viewed almost like make-up," she explained. "When you dye your hair, you're changing who you are, and I don't think there's anything wrong with that."
"I think people should get plastic surgery or fillers or lasers or whatever if they want it — that should be your own personal decision," she continued.
- If the natural route doesn't work for you then go for it, she says
Khloe did add, though, that she reckons it's best to try other ways of getting the look you want before opting for plastic surgery.
She suggested re-examining your diet or hitting the gym harder before opting for liposuction - but made it clear that she saw nothing wrong with opting for surgery if exercise or dieting didn't deliver the desired results.
"If you're working out, and you have a trouble area, and it's still bothering you, then go fix it if you want," she said. "I definitely am a fan of plastic surgery, I just think you need to go through the proper channels first."
- But she hasn't had a nose job
In the interview, Khloe also took time out to address recent rumours that she'd had a nose job - she says she hasn’t, but that she wouldn't be at all embarrassed if she had.
"If I felt like I wanted one, I would've," she told Cosmo. "And if I want to do something, I'll totally do it — I don't care and I'll be the first one to say, 'Look what I just did! This is my doctor, let's do an interview with him and give me the free nose job!'"
So that's Khloe's take on cosmetic surgery. Are you with her on this as well? Let us know by joining the debate on Twitter.
