Kris Jenner shared her plastic surgery procedure on TV to 'help others'
12 September 2012One of America's biggest reality television stars has said she wanted to have details of her breast augmentation surgery filmed in order to help other people. Kris Jenner, who stars alongside her daughters Kourtney, Khloe and Kim in Keeping up with the Kardashians, was seen preparing to undergo a procedure to have her breast implants changed. The penultimate episode of season seven even contained footage of the 56-year-old in hospital. Speaking to Savannah Guthrie on NBC's Today Show, Jenner said that although the shots were filmed in a comical way, the replacement of breast implants was a serious issue. "You know, take them out and change them after 10 years," she said. "That was a big message and important for me to sort of put out there in a comical way. But it was so important, health-wise, to remind women to check [their] expiration date because it's a health risk." Daughter Kim announced earlier this year during an interview that while she has not had any plastic surgery performed to date, she is not against the idea. The socialite has admitted to having had Botox injections in order to keep her lines and wrinkles at bay.
