Kylie Jenner talks getting the perfect pout with Juvéderm

The youngest Kardashian has grown up quickly under the media spot-light, too quickly according to some of her critics. But if there’s one thing that’s garnered attention around 18 year old Kylie Kardashian, it’s her lips!

The reality TV star uses temporary Dermal Fillers to plump up her pout, after feeling insecure about her thin looking lips and is now renowned for her sultry look. Though she admits perfecting the treatment has been a journey. “I still do Juvéderm for my lips. I go to Dr. Ourian in Beverly Hills. He’s the best. I was going to somebody before and it was just looking crazy. I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months. It’s annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it.”

Temporary Lip Fillers have less potential for complications than their permanent counterparts, though it’s important to leave an appropriate amount of time between treatments to avoid looking overly ‘done’ and to stop your lips looking disproportionate the rest of your facial features.

Juvéderm is the Dermal Filler product offered by The Harley Medical Group, when injected by a medically trained Cosmetic Surgery Nurse, it provides a natural looking plumpness and definition to the lips.

Kylie enhances the look of her lips with make-up and is launching her own lip collection, “I like lip liners over lipsticks… I’m in the middle of creating my own lip kit and I’m doing my three favourite colours: nude, a sepia colour and a true brown.”

A host of online make-up tutorials exist to help you recreate Kylie’s beauty look. Top tips the expert beauty bloggers recommend include using lip liner to fill in the entire lip, drawing straight across your cupid’s bow for extra volume and adding a lighter shade of lipstick to only the centre of your mouth for a contoured effect.
