Where some children get their best features from their parents, in Liv Tylers case, she got her best skincare advice from the lead singer of one of the worlds most successful rock bands, Aerosmith her father, Steve Tyler.According to the actress, Steve Tyler played a huge part in her beauty regime offering fashionable words of wisdom during her childhood years. Speaking to Glamour magazine, Liv Tyler said: In the 90s, when I was a kid, my dad was always telling me I needed a little body in my hair. [His process was to] use two blow-dryers at the same time, shake out his hair, then flip it up. And I was like, Daddy, I dont want my hair like that! I liked my hair flat, silky, and tucked behind my ears. While Liv preferred to do things her way when it came to maintaining her luscious locks, she added that she was inspired by his impressive collection of beauty products. Today when I go and stay with him, I always have to raid his cupboards because hes got all the best creams, she explained. Hes, like, a major moisturiser, she added. Hell cover his whole body in oil and moisturiser and walk around the house in a pair of shorts. This in turn led to Liv keeping to her own beauty process: Me, I do face masks all the time. Even when Im walking around the house. However, when it comes to styling tips, it appears that Liv and her father are at opposite ends of the wardrobe spectrum. It has always been fun to watch him get dressed, referring to her father. But I definitely dont think of him when Im getting dressed.
