Carol McGiffin, known for her work as a presenter on ITV's daytime panel show Loose Women, has said she is considering having cosmetic surgery in order to maintain her looks. According to the Daily Express newspaper, the 51-year-old revealed that she has been thinking about having a facelift to avoid looking like an "old lady" when she stands next to her fiance Mark Cassidy, who is 22 years her junior. But the television star said she won't rush into having a procedure and has already tried a number of non-surgical treatments which have helped to keep her looking young and fresh-faced. Newspaper articles published last month focussed on the fact that Carol's wrinkles appeared to have lessened, leading to rumours that she had undergone a cosmetic surgery procedure. In her column for Closer magazine, she admitted trying a Computer Aided Cosmetology Instrument (CACI) treatment which tones muscles in the face to help reduce lines and wrinkles. Carol also said she has started using top of the range facial creams to help keep her skin smooth.
