Some of Britain's best-loved TV stars have gone 'au natural' for a magazine photo shoot, showing how well their faces have stood up to the ageing process without the help of make-up. Posing for Closer magazine, Loose Women panellist Denise Welch revealed she was comfortable about her appearance, especially following an eye lift."I had an eye lift done as a 50th birthday present to myself," Denise said, calling it "the best thing" she's done. "Iíve also had fillers and Botox in the past," Denise added. "Itís not about looking 10 years younger, I just want to look the best I can for my age." The former Coronation Street star proved she had nothing to worry about, looking great in front of the cameras without her make-up. "Iím 52 so of course there are signs of ageing but considering the abuse my body has gone through ... I think I look pretty good," Denise said, referring to her problems with alcohol and other addictions in her 30s. "This shoot was liberating - I donít care about people seeing me bare-faced, but I wouldnít want to appear on live TV like it!" Joining Denise in the photo shoot was former EastEnder Michelle Collins. The 49-year-old said that she is now happier with her appearance than she was during her tenure in the soap. "Iíve never seen myself as a natural beauty but I think Iíve grown into my looks as Iíve aged," Michelle said. "I eat well, I take pride in looking after myself and I donít think I look bad. I probably look better now than I did in EastEnders 20 years ago."
