Modelling agency comes out to deny Lohan cosmetic surgery suspicions
The agency which represents American fashion model Ali Lohan, younger sister of actress Lindsay Lohan, has denied rumours that the teenager has had cosmetic surgery. Some celebrity commentators have said photographs taken of the 17-year-old this week appear to show Lohan with markedly different facial features, sparking claims that she has undergone a plastic surgery operation to alter her looks. However, the star's representatives have denied that she has used cosmetic surgery to change her appearance. A statement released to celebrity website E! News by Alexis Borges, agency director at Next Model Management, said: "Contrary to recent reports, I can confirm that Aliana Lohan has not had any surgery." Borges went on to say that any changes to the teen's appearance were just a sign of her body changing naturally. The statement continued: "As a young girl who is growing up, it's natural for her facial features to change slightly, and we see this with many of the younger models we represent. "Aliana is a beautiful 17-year-old girl who is growing into her face and body, as is the norm for someone of her age. We take pastoral care of our models very seriously and encourage the models to maintain a healthy lifestyle and body shape."
