David Sayah, a plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills, explained this is a trend he sees every year as women want to ensure their bodies look perfect for the warmer months. He stated that people book their breast augmentation procedures in spring, as this means their body has plenty of time to heal ready for summer, when they will be wearing bikinis and swimsuits. “Once winter's end is in sight, it's natural to start thinking about warm weather activities,” Dr Sayah stated. He also believes the stigma that was once associated with plastic surgery no longer exists, meaning people feel more comfortable about going under the knife to improve their figure. “Not every woman wants to just go bigger anymore. For example, more athletic women may prefer a smaller cup size, and that's something we can work on together,” the expert stated.
