My patients don't want to look younger says top Hollywood plastic surgeon
20 November 2012A leading American cosmetic surgeon has told a TV channel that his secret to successful procedures is to convince his patients that "less is more". Dr Davis Nguyen, who practises in the hotbed of image-consciousness that is Beverley Hills, California, said in an interview on Extra TV's talk show The Grove: "I don't like to change a person's look. I'm not about being extreme or over the top. "I like to put balance back in a person's face. When you do that, they don't look done." And he introduced the audience to two of his patients, one of whom, 54-year-old 'Carrie', got a hugely positive response from the audience when they saw the results of her face, brow and upper and lower eye lifts. Dr Nguyen said: "Most of the time [my patients] just want to look good for their age, without looking like they are trying to appear 20 years younger."
