05 November 2010A new American TV show plans to offer brides-to-be the chance to compete for cosmetic surgery. Bridalplasty is a soon to be released reality TV show designed to pit eager brides against each other in a variety of challenges. The competitions are all wedding themed and range from tasks such as writing vows or planning honeymoons, and the winner of each will have the chance to undergo a cosmetic surgery procedure. Makers of the controversial new show have revealed the first trailer, which details the types of plastic surgery procedures contestants will be fighting for. According to aceshowbiz.com, the show - from US network E! - will be hoisted by Shanna Moakler and celebrity surgeon Terry Dubrow, who is famous for his appearances on Fox's extreme makeover show The Swan, will be the surgeon in charge. Contestants will also be able to vow to eliminate each other, and the overall winner will enjoy a dream wedding. E! Said: "The last bride standing will receive a 'dream wedding', where she will reveal her new appearance to friends, family and the groom. "Viewers will witness his emotional and possibly shocked reaction as they stand at the altar and he lifts her veil to see her for the first time following her extreme plastic surgery." The new show could result in a boost in US cosmetic surgery procedures, as studies have shown reality TV can fuel demand. Bridalplasty will premier in America on November 28.
