Sex and the City stars keeping trim for sequel
13 April 2010With Sex and the City 2 finally hitting the big screen next month, the cast are doing their best to stay in shape ready for the red carpet, with rumours that some are holding back the years with help from cosmetic surgery. While some of the actresses are a far cry from the characters they play in the hit TV and film series, The Daily Record reports that their strong personalities still come to the fore in the very different approaches they take towards looking good. Sarah Jessica Parker revealed her co-stars' dieting habits, explaining: "Kristin is more conscientious about her intake, but Cynthia Nixon and I eat anything." The petite star, known by fans as SJP, also said she sticks to a strict gym routine and works out on a treadmill five days each week, which she feels allows her to enjoy the food she loves without worrying. "I would definitely be more inclined to go to a dinner party than slave away in the gym," Sarah said. "Food and people are life's greatest pleasures." The girls are also no strangers to the world of plastic surgery either, from Kim Catrall's fondness for Botox to Cynthia Nixon's rumoured boob job. Kristin Davis also reportedly had varicose veins removed and Sarah Jessica Parker underwent treatment to remove a mole. With the UK premiere of Sex and the City 2 slated for 20 May and a public release not too long after, it seems everyone will be talking about the New York girls again this summer.
