Skincare expert recommends laser treatment for wrinkles
Laser treatments and skin peels have been recommended as two effective ways to fight the signs of ageing. Dr Anne Chapas, a renowned dermatologist who writes a column for the Huffington Post, said that caffeine-based eye creams, skin peels and laser treatments are effective ways to fight lines and wrinkles. Dr Chapas describes these treatments as “breakthrough wrinkle fighters”, but sticks by the rule that sun protection is the best way to prevent wrinkles and sun damage. “I always tell all of my patients that sunscreen is the number one anti-aging, anti-wrinkle cream available,” she said.Talking about the benefits of caffeine, Dr Chapas said: “Not only will the caffeine wake you up, but it will wake your eyes up.” Dr Chapas, who is a board-certified dermatologist specialising in laser and cosmetic dermatology, went on to say that removing dead skin from the face can help to give your features a healthy glow. “I do chemical peels to get rid of fine lines and wrinkles and improve their pigmentation,” she said.
