Supermodel Linda Evangelista stopped traffic in New York when posing for a religious-themed photo shoot. The elaborate shoot and intricate costume worn by the model is thought to be for an upcoming issue of W magazine and the Daily Mail reports that the theme appeared to be a recreation of a religious procession held in Seville during Holy Week. Unlike many other members of her profession, Linda is not shy about her use of cosmetic surgery treatments and has in the past admitted to improving her appearance with the use of non surgical solution Botox. She said: "How do other women feel when they see the pictures? Models are not superhuman. We grow old." However, it seems that the star is not entirely alone when it comes to revealing her fondness for the wrinkle relaxing injections. Jenny McCarthy has also talked of her experiences with Botox, as has model Daisy Fuentes who, according to Celebrity Beauty Buzz, said: "There's a right time for things like Botox as you get older." Botox continues to grow in popularity as a cosmetic enhancement despite the current global economic downturn. This can in part be attributed to the relative cheapness of the treatment and in part to emerging trends that suggest many are turning to non surgical treatments to boost their chances of securing a job. The fact that many celebrities are now opening up about the procedures that they've had or the cosmetic surgery that they are considering is another factor that has encouraged the rate of people choosing Botox to increase.
