Superstar Tom says 'never' to plastic surgery

17 May 2012

More than half of his lifetime since he found worldwide stardom, courtesy of Top Gun, Tom Cruise has insisted that he has never resorted to plastic surgery to help keep his looks – and he never will. He has spoken out in an interview with Playboy magazine, in which he admitted he doesn't know how he has managed to stay looking so youthful – and claims it's unlikely to be because of his lifestyle."I honestly have no idea," he said. "I work, I'm always with family. I train, go without sleep. I just go hard." Cruise turns 50 in a couple of months, but according to the Daily Mail, "hardly seems to have aged since he became a fully-fledged star thanks to his role in Top Gun." He also used the Playboy interview to express his love for Katie Holmes, 33, to whom he has been married for five years. His next role is starring in a film version of the stage musical Rock Of Ages, released on June 15 and based on the classic rock music from the Top Gun era of the late 1980s. He plays male lead Stacee Jaxx, the frontman in the fictional band on which the story by Chris D'Arenzio is based. See original story here:
