‘Ten years younger’ after going under the knife – one woman’s anti-ageing story

sb10063521ah-001One woman has described how she looks and feels 10 years younger after having cosmetic surgery. Speaking to the Daily Express, 50-year-old voluntary first aid worker Beverley-Jayne Last explained that although she has always looked after her body, she felt as though her sagging jowls and tired eyes were adding years to her appearance. After a lot of research, she decided to take the plunge and go under the knife by having an upper and lower blepharoplasty on her eyes, as well as treatment to lift her jawline. After the surgery Mrs Last described how her face was initially swollen, however the stiches came out eight days later and she was shopping in the supermarket wearing sunglasses. “Within a couple of months you wouldn't have been able to tell I had gone under the knife,” she continued. “Ten months on it has completely settled down and I couldn't be happier with the way that I look.” Now, Mrs Last feels as though the surgery has taken years off her, while her husband is also pleased with her new-found confidence. “Once again I can look in the mirror with confidence. I will definitely have it done again in 10 years or so if I need it,” she concluded.
