Tennis star Simona Halep boosts her game with breast reduction
28 May 2010Romanian tennis star Simona Halep has unveiled her new look at the French Open tennis tournament, after choosing breast reduction to improve her performance and reduce the severe back pain that was caused by her large breasts. The young star underwent breast surgery to reduce her bust from a large 34DD to a more natural 34C, a size better suited to her build. While her breast reduction is expected to improve her tennis abilities, with less weight to carry on her chest, Simona explained to her fans that she didn't just choose cosmetic surgery for the tennis court, and that her back problems have also been affecting her in everyday life. "Its the weight that troubles me," Simona said. "My ability to react quickly, my breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. "I dont like them in my everyday life, either. I would have gone for surgery even if I hadnt been a sportswoman." Breast reduction is an increasingly popular cosmetic surgery choice for women who are looking to achieve a bust size more in proportion to the rest of their body, whether they have always suffered from oversized breasts or if they have developed more recently due to weight fluctuation or following pregnancy. Simona is looking forward to a life without the chronic discomfort and back pain caused by her breasts and hopes that her new, in proportion bust, will also help her enjoy her time on the tennis court more.
