Weddings bring out the best
As I think mentioned earlier this year, one of my friends is soon to get married and I've been having a lot of fun this summer helping her with the preparations. From helping her mum choose which non surgical solution to help her get ready for the big day (she had Botox in the end) to going dress shopping (which is just as much fun as it sounds), I have to say that I've been swept up in the excitement of the whole affair and now I can't wait for the big day. The bride herself chose a series of facials, a skin peel to remove some pigmentation and make sure she's feeling her best, but luckily for me I'd already upped my beauty regime for summer so haven't done anything I wouldn't otherwise - something my bank balance is thanking me for, especially with the hen night looming on the horizon! My friend and her mother certainly aren't alone when it comes to making sure they are happy with the way they look on their big day, it's a trend emerging around the world and one that plenty of celebrities have contributed to. Just look at Kelly Osbourne. The TV star said that she wants breast surgery before she'll get hitched to boyfriend Luke Worrall next year - it sounds like she might be following in mum's footsteps! There are worse ones to follow in, that's for sure. Your wedding day is one of the most important you'll ever have, so you might as well make the best of it is all I have to say (just don't expect a really expensive present from me!).
