Women decide results of cosmetic surgery are worth the cost
10 August 2011An online news site has collected stories from women who all believe that the results of plastic surgery far outweigh the costs. Daily Finance today published testimonials from four women who have undergone cosmetic surgery procedures all of the stories talked of the surgery giving them a new lease of life. Kim Gregson, 47, had liposuction and a tummy tuck, Samantha Alvarado, 26, had breast augmentation and a tummy tuck, Christina Hadzi, 54, has regular Botox injections, and Amy Klein, 41, had a stem-cell facelift. Gregson questioned her surgery during the recovery period but was soon calling herself a new person and insisting that she felt emotionally better. Alvarado, a mother of two, was so pleased with her so-called mummy makeover that she went back to college to train as a plastic surgery nurse. Hadzi had regular Botox injections for 10 years, only stopping briefly when business slowed and she had to cut back on her spending. She believes that it is as normal to budget for Botox as it is to budget for hair treatments and cosmetics. When asked if the cost of cosmetic treatments is really worth it, Dr Phil Haeck, president of the American Society of Plastic surgeons said: I counter that by asking a woman how much she spends on cosmetics every year.
