World’s oldest supermodel still turns heads with the help of dermal fillers
Carmen Dell’Orefice – who at the age of 81 is known as the world’s oldest supermodel – has proved she’s still got what it takes by strutting her stuff on the catwalk. The native New Yorker took to the runway twice during New York Fashion Week, for designers Norisol Ferrari and Marimekko, the Daily Mail reports. However, Ms Dell’Orefice recently admitted during an interview with Today that she has had a little help to keep her looking so young and elegant. The star revealed she has used facial fillers to help delay the signs of aging and keep her looking youthful. She also believes the industry as a whole is coming round to the idea that not all models have to be young. “I think America may be growing up and accepting the fact that the bulk of life exists beyond 50. Because demographically... the vast population is over 50,” Ms Dell’Orefice said. The 5ft 10in model – who stands out with her silver-white hair - certainly turned heads on the catwalk, as she confidently showed off the clothes and posed like a pro.
