HOW DOES Laser Hair Removal WORK?
Permanent laser hair removal offers a long-term solution to repeated waxing, shaving, and tweezing hair from your body.
During your procedure, we firstly determine which treatment is best for your skin type. Then we use a hand-held laser to heat up hair follicles at their roots. This breaks them down so that there is no immediate regrowth.
In-between treatments, we advise against waxing, shaving, or plucking any hair in the targeted area, as this can damage the skin. Once your course of laser treatments is finished, you should exfoliate and moisturise skin to prevent irritation post-treatment.

HOW MANY SESSIONS will you NEED?
For laser hair removal treatment to be fully effective, it should be undertaken when the hair follicle is actively growing - known as the anagen phase.
Typically, four to eight sessions of laser treatment are recommended, depending on the area being treated, with a four to eight week interval in between. This is in order to ensure that we capture each hair in its active growth stage as each individual one beings its cycle at a different time.
Our quick and effective treatment targets the pigment in the hair, rather than the skin; the laser travels down into the follicle itself to make sure that the removal is permanent in a process called selective photothermolysis.
