Laser hair removal removes unwanted hair by the use of laser light. The intense heat from the light targets the hair follicle, which destroys it from the root. The skin is not targeted nor is it affected in the laser hair removal process. The full laser hair removal process requires around four to eight individual sessions.
Hair must be trimmed two days before treatment and waxing, plucking, epilating or bleaching should be avoided between treatments. Within two weeks, the active hairs will begin to fall out. Up to 95 per cent of the targeted hair will be removed once the laser hair removal course is completed.
