Patient Advisor

Patient Advisors (London)

As a Patient Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting the initial consultation with patients ensuring clients are appropriately informed before referring them to a surgeon.
  • Working closely with surgeons, anaesthetists and our nursing team to ensure patients are safe for surgery.
  • Create a transparent consultation for all patients and act as the single point of contact throughout their journey with us.
  • Chaperoning patients at surgeon consultations.
  • Ensuring all patients questions and concerns be it medical, financial or logistical are addressed before and after surgery. 
  • Meet the KPI expectations of the business.
  • Represent The Harley Medical Group as the company of choice for cosmetic surgery.

You must be a real people person capable of building great rapport quickly with patients. Strong communication skills are required - both verbal and written. You need to have a positive, can do attitude with exception service skills. Ideally you will have worked in the Industry or have experience of conducting consultations – if not you must have demonstrable transferable skills.

Our patients like to see us when it suits them so you must be prepared to work regular weekends and evenings.

Clinical Manager

CLINICAL MANAGER

We are looking for a great Clinical Manager to join our team.

Your responsibility will be to develop and drive the clinical team at our flag ship clinic on Harley Street. You will be responsible for the delivery of the highest level of safety, quality and customer service to our patients in line with Care Quality Commission requirements and The Harley Medical Group’s own high standards.

You will manage the Surgical Care Department which delivers pre and post operative appointments to our customers. This role will require you to manage a team of staff and will involve regular training with team members, coaching, one on one meetings and team meetings to ensure assigned objectives are fulfilled.

As part of this role you will share responsibility as “Duty Manager” on shift as per the published Duty Manager rota. This part of the role will oversee the smooth daily running of the clinic, dealing with first line management issues when they arise whilst ensuring key business objectives are overseen and achieved by all staff members in the absence of the General Manager.

As part of the management team at Harley Street the Clinical Manager will share responsibility for Harley Street reaching its monthly targets within budget.

As part of the management team at Harley Street the Clinical Manager will share responsibility for Harley Street achieving no less than a “Good” overall CQC specific to the following audit areas.

  • Record Keeping
  • Adverse incident
  • Infection control
  • Medication
  • Out of hours
  • Wound infection audit

In addition to the above audit areas the Clinical Manager will assist in organising all mandatory training days for the clinic.

You will ensure all therapists/RN’s assessments are carried out per company training and assessment schedule and undertake re-assessments as needed. Part of the Clinical Manager role will involve first stage investigation into expressions of dissatisfaction surrounding Clinical, Laser and Non Surgical procedures.

Ideally you will have a background in the healthcare industry and have proven management experience.

A Registered Nurse qualification is essential for this role.
