experts surgeons

The Harley Medical Group is founded on care and our Medical Professionals are at the heart of this.

Our Plastic Surgeons are highly skilled, qualified and innovative and also have collective years of experience.

The General Medical Council (GMC) lists all Surgeons in the UK and those that specialise in Plastic Surgery. We accept membership of various professional associations, such as the British Association of Plastic Surgeons (BAPS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS).

We will not accept a Cosmetic Surgeon unless they are on the UK's General Medical Council as a Plastic Surgeon. As well as being registered, we also believe it is vital that your Cosmetic Surgeon has plenty of experience. In fact, your Plastic Surgeon should be carrying out Cosmetic Surgery operations daily.

Our Medical Advisory Committee of Plastic Surgeons is headed by an independent medical advisor who was previously an NHS consultant in Plastic Surgery. We provide the highest standards of treatment and care in our hospitals.

All our medical staff are approachable, competent and available to you 24 hours a day. Each of our fully staffed clinics are recognised centres of excellence in Cosmetic Surgery.

First Trust Hospital

First Trust Hospital

D'urton Lane, Preston. PR3 5LD
Tel: 01772 860 884

First Trust Hospital is a privately owned, independent hospital situated in its own grounds north of Preston. It was established in April 2005.

Our aim is to provide the highest possible standards of care for all our patients. First Trust Hospital maintains a relaxed and friendly atmosphere making your stay in hospital as comfortable as possible.

Getting to the Hospital

We are located north of Preston off the A6 in a semi-rural, private location.

Junction 32 of the M6 or Junction 1 of the M55 is the required exit for the A6 northbound (signposted to Garstang).

D’urton Lane is just 50 metres north of the roundabout (on the right hand side).

Turn right into D’urton Lane from the A6 and travel approximately 800 metres to just before D’urton Lane passes underneath the motorway.

Do not pass under the motorway.

Just a few metres before the motorway bridge, turn left into the private access road to the First Trust Hospital.  This is identified by a sign set back from D’urton Lane.  Keep to the left.

The car park is on the left.  The hospital entrance is in front of you.

On arrival

The hospital is surrounded by mature trees and vegetation and it is impossible to see from the road.  The access road is partly obscured by a cottage on the west corner.  Access is however immediately before D’urton Lane passes beneath the motorway.

Parking Facilities

There is adequate free car parking available for patients, relatives and visitors.

Your Visitors

In order to maintain our high standards of care, the number of visitors permitted to accompany a patient are restricted to one only.  The purpose of this is to ensure that a quiet, safe and relaxed environment is maintained at all times.

All visitors must sign in at the Reception desk and wear the pass provided.  This is a safety requirement of the hospital and visitors not displaying their pass will be approached by staff.

Please note that all patients who are due to have surgery should not eat for 6 hours before admission. You may take clear liquids (e.g. water) up to 2 hours before your admission time.
