Breast surgery is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures available today. Whether you are considering reducing, uplifting or otherwise enhancing your breasts, The Harley Medical Group offers procedures from the highest quality experts in their field.
If you would like to change the size or shape of your breasts, or you feel that one is noticeably bigger than the other, you are not alone. Our surgeons perform hundreds of breast surgery operations every year and we understand that there are many different reasons why women choose to have breast enlargement, breast uplift and breast reduction procedures.
We specialise in all types of breast surgery, and ensure that the results of your surgery give you the body confidence and boost in self-esteem that you deserve.
Commonly known as the ‘boob job’, breast enlargement surgery is our most commonly performed procedure for women and many patients report a boost in self confidence following the surgery. If you are unhappy with the size of your breasts, we advise that you book in for a consultation with one of our highly experienced cosmetic surgeons. During this consultation the surgeon will talk you through the procedure in detail, discuss the size and shape of breasts you wish to achieve and answer any questions you may have.
At The Harley Medical Group, we use Mentor implants in the breast augmentation procedure, to give a natural look and feel no matter what size you choose. There are different ways to insert breast implants and the best way for you will be discussed in detail during your initial consultation.
Women with overly large breasts can suffer from physical discomfort such as back and neck pain, and feel self conscious about their bodies. If you feel that your breasts are out of proportion or are affecting your body confidence, we advise that you book in for a consultation with one of our experienced surgeons to see if breast reduction surgery could help. During your initial consultation you are encouraged to ask as many questions as you like and to discuss the results you hope to achieve from the procedure. Your surgeon will also explain the procedure in detail and ensure you understand the recovery process. We also regularly perform breast reduction for those women who want breasts that are in proportion with the rest of the body, or who want relief from back or neck pain caused by overly large breasts.
It is not uncommon for women to find that the fullness of their breasts is lost after childbirth, significant weight loss or simply due to the natural ageing process. An increasing number of women are opting for breast uplift surgery to restore the natural fullness to their breasts and feel confident in their bodies again.
Breast uplift surgery can be performed on its own or be combined with breast implants to achieve fuller, natural looking breasts. Breast uplift surgery is most commonly performed on older patients whose breasts have lost their fullness due to the natural ageing process, and on mothers whose breasts have lost their shape and support due to breast-feeding.
We use MENTOR® Memory Gel implants which are recognised as one of the world’s leading breast implant brand in terms of safety and quality; they are produced by Johnson & Johnson who have specialised in making healthcare products for over 125 years.

Most people have a feature or body part that makes them feel a little self-conscious. Sometimes the solutions is obvious, but at other times it’s not so clear. We meet people everyday who start questions with ‘What can be done to...?’ and ‘How can I get ...?’
We know people like answers, but they also like options, which is why we have developed our unique Body Treatment Guide tool which will help you learn more about the skincare products, treatments or procedures that are right for you.
Many women find that they have stubborn pockets of fat that they can’t get rid of, most commonly around the thigh area, the buttocks, the upper arms and the abdomen. Liposuction is used to reshape and sculpt particular areas of the body by removing excess fat. This surgical procedure is not designed to be used as a procedure for weight loss but is instead for those people who have stubborn pockets of fat which diet and exercise just won’t shift. The procedure is carried out under general anaesthetic and usually takes between one and two hours. Recovery varies from person to person but you can usually expect to be back at work after two weeks and see the full results of the surgery after six weeks.
Despite a lifestyle of healthy eating and exercise ladies often find areas and pockets of fat that are hard to remove. Though perfectly natural and not harmful many seek to remove these fat pockets. But with lots of liposuction options, choosing the right procedure for you can be confusing. At The Harley Medical Group we always aim to ensure that our patients get the right procedure for them which is why we offer traditional Liposuction; Vaser Liposuction and Laser Liposuction.
The tummy tuck procedure is particularly popular with new mums and with those women who have lost a significant amount of weight and have been left with excess, loose skin. The surgery is carried out under general anaesthetic and is used to remove any excess skin and fatty tissue, reshape the area and create a slimmer, smoother and tighter abdominal area. A tummy tuck can be combined with liposuction for those women who are looking to achieve a slimmer waistline.
Those who have lost a substantial amount of weight can be left with unsightly loose skin on particular areas of their body, and it is not unusual for one of these areas to be the arms or thighs. Many people choose to have thigh lift surgery to improve the appearance of their legs, make them look slimmer and firmer, and have the confidence to show off the results of their weight loss. The procedure is carried out under general anaesthetic and you will need to take two weeks off work in order to fully recover, during which time you will be advised to avoid any physical exercise.
Cosmetic gynaecology is often referred to as vaginal tightening or vaginal reshaping depending on the type of procedure you have. The days of taboo surrounding this type of cosmetic surgery are long gone and it is not at all uncommon for women to enquire about cosmetic gynaecology if they are unhappy with the way their genitalia looks, or if it is causing discomfort or embarrassment. Surgery can be performed on the outer areas of the genitalia - the pubis mound and labia minora - and on the inside if the surgeon is tightening the area.
We have been offering cosmetic surgery procedures for the face since we were established, and with years experience we understand that there are many different reasons why people come to us for help with improving their facial features.
Our skilled and experienced nurses and surgeons will help you to decide which of our procedures will give you the desired results and leave you feeling confident and happy with your appearance. Our nurses will often carry out a free computerised photo imaging skin analysis which will allow them to fully understand what condition your skin is in and which treatments or procedures to recommend. Your skin will be analysed for spots, sun damage, wrinkles, UV spots and pigmentation, the results of which will form the basis for our recommended course of surgical or non-surgical treatments.
Our specialist team tell us that they see ladies that are unhappy with their appearance when they look in the mirror. Our nurses are told time and time again “I know I want something, I just don’t know what that something is…”
Despite nearly every magazine telling us what we can have done the world of aesthetic beauty can be a very confusing one. This is why we have developed our unique Facial Treatment Guide tool which will help you learn more about the skincare products, treatments or procedures that are right for you.
Brow lift surgery is often performed on those people who wish to rejuvenate their face and in particular the area around the eyes. As we get older the skin on the face can start to lose elasticity and this can mean that the skin will sag and droop around the eyes, mouth and jaw line. Brow lift surgery can help to tighten the skin, reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles and remove the “hoods” that can appear over the eyes and make them look tired and old. This surgery is sometimes combined with eye bag removal surgery, which is performed on the upper eyelids, lower eyelids or combination of the two to open up the eyes, tighten any loose skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Getting older can take its toll on the appearance, particularly to the skin around the eyes which can become loose and wrinkled, start to sag, and make the eyes look tired, adding years to the face. Eye bag removal surgery helps to restore youthfulness to the face; despite the name this procedure covers surgery to remove excess skin and fatty tissue from above the eye, removing the hood of skin which can develop as we get older. It can also be used to remove excess fatty tissue and skin from underneath the eyes, and smooth wrinkles to corners of the eyes, often known as crow’s feet.
The size or shape of your nose can make a huge difference to the way your face looks and if you are unhappy with it, this can make a serious dent in self-confidence. We have performed thousands of nose reshaping procedures and our surgeons are experienced in reducing the size of the nose, changing the shape of the nose, increasing or decreasing the size of nostrils and smoothing lumps and bumps. Whatever the reason is for you being unhappy with your nose, book in for a free consultation today to see how we can help.
The face is the first thing that people see when they meet you and it is therefore easy to have your confidence knocked if you are insecure about a particular feature. If you feel like this because of the size or shape of your chin, then you are not alone and our chin implant surgery might be the solution. Chin implants are most commonly used to add shape and fullness to a receding chin, or to alter the overall shape of the face, often to balance and proportion. This type of surgery can be combined with a face lift, nose reshaping surgery or any other surgical procedure for the face to achieve a better facial balance and a look that you will feel totally happy with.
The ageing process can be very difficult for some people and face lift surgery has become more and more popular over the years with those looking to reduce sagging skin, eliminate lines and wrinkles and rejuvenate the face. Face lift surgery can give back that feeling of self-confidence and can be combined with neck lift surgery and eye bag removal to take years off the face.
Many people are self-conscious about their ears, particularly if they stick out rather than sit flat against the side of the head, and ear reshaping surgery can help. Our surgeons are highly skilled in resizing, reshaping and repositioning the ears for those people who are unhappy with the way they look. The procedure to pin back ears is really simple and it will often be performed as a day case, meaning you won’t have to stay in hospital overnight.
For many people the visible signs of ageing can be difficult to come to terms with, especially for those who feel young at heart. There are many cosmetic surgery procedures and Non Surgical treatments available to reduce or reverse these signs, and a neck lift (platysmaplasty) is one of the most popular. A neck lift, also called a platysmaplasty, is a surgical procedure by which any loose skin along the jaw line and on the neck itself is removed. The effect is a smoother, wrinkle-free neck and jaw line and a rejuvenated appearance. This procedure can also be used to remove excess skin following substantial weight loss or reduction of skin elasticity due to genetics, sun damage or treatment for illness. This procedure alone can be effective in making a person look younger, but is often combined with face lift surgery in order to create a younger overall appearance. Your experienced surgeon will recommend the best procedure or combination of procedures for you depending on the results you wish to achieve.
