How much do you invest in skincare each month: £20, £50, £100? A new survey has found that despite, arguably, being the age group least in need of effective skin care, 18-24 year olds are the highest spenders when it comes to their beauty regime.

The survey found that a glowing, healthy complexion is still one of the most desired assets among women, with Scarlett Johansson the celebrity with the most envied complexion. Scarlett’s dreamy skin was closely followed my Emma Watson and Megan Fox – who came second and third on the list.

Nine out of ten women questioned said radiant skin was a key factor in making them feel attractive. And the same majority agreed a diligent skincare routine helped them achieve this.

One expert explains, “Research keeps telling us that a flawless complexion really is the Holy Grail when it comes to beauty. Some of us are fortunate enough to have good genes and for others, healthy lifestyles and effective skincare solutions can help and work wonders.”

But it’s important to consider where we invest the money we spend on beauty. With many (quite expensive) cosmetics offering only minimal results, Non Surgical Treatments often offer a better ROI. Treatments like the Dermaroller can dramatically improve the tone and texture of skin, as well as reducing the appearance of imperfections like acne scars. For a brighter, glowing complexion exfoliating treatments like a Microdermabrasion or a Skin Peel are effective solutions. Both remove the top layers of dead cells, which dull the appearance of skin.
