Actress Ariel Winter discusses recent Breast Reduction surgery – and she’s thrilled with the results!

At 5’1 Ariel winter felt overwhelmed by her natural 32F breast size. The petite star made the decision to undergo a Breast Reduction and she couldn’t be happier with the results!

In a recent interview with Glamour magazine the ‘Modern Family’ actress discussed her decision and the emotional as well as physical results.

Like many young women, Ariel remembers looking at older ladies and wishing she had boobs too. “I remember being at my sister’s wedding and being so flat and thinking ‘I just wish I would grow boobs!’” Then her hormones kicked in, “over-night I did [grow boobs]. But then they kept growing and growing and growing and it didn’t seem like they were going to stop.”

At 15 Ariel was already an F cup, something which had an impact on her burgeoning acting career. “I couldn’t play younger roles anymore. Once I developed I couldn’t really play 12, 13 or 14 anymore. They’d want to send me out for 18 or 19, but the problem with 18 or 19 is I’m not 18 yet. So why would they hire me when they could hire someone that was 18 or 19?”

“They had to hide it on ‘Modern Family’ a lot. Big sweaters [or] strapping me down – which is fine – I understand it doesn’t fit the character they had in mind… but it was difficult to do that every day.”

The Breast Reduction took Ariel from a 32F to a 34D and she’s delighted with her new physique. Like many women with large breasts Ariel had struggled with back and neck pain for a long time, “I really couldn’t stand up for a long period of time. It started to hurt so bad that I couldn’t take the pain.” Though the effects of the surgery aren’t just physical and Ariel has a new found confidence after the surgery, “I can’t even really put it into words about how amazing it feels to really feel right.”
