Regular exfoliation will slough away the build-up of dead skin cells, stimulating the production of collagen and leaving your skin smooth, clear and radiant, while eating lots of fresh fruit and vegetables and avoiding sugar not only benefits your skin but also your joint mobility, cognitive function and eye health.

Getting the recommended eight hours’ sleep each night does wonders for your skin, helping to prevent against premature ageing and leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Lastly, Barton-Schwartz suggests regular exercise to increase the amount of oxygen delivered to your skin cells, helping to reduce wrinkles and inflammation.
