Brinkley doesn't rule out Cosmetic Surgery to help her stay sexy at 60-plus
30 January 2014She was once one of the world's highest paid models, and the subject of Billy Joel's worldwide number one hit Uptown Girl and now, as she approaches her 60th birthday, Christie Brinkley has said she would 'never say never' to using Cosmetic Surgery to help preserve her fabulous looks. Brinkley hits the landmark age this weekend, and has said in a new interview that her opinion on Surgical procedures has changed over the past couple of decades. She told People magazine that she had discounted the idea in her 40s, but now she wouldn't rule out complementing her already-wide ranging beauty regime including a vegetarian diet and regular exercise with Cosmetic Surgery. "There are [also] so many non-invasive choices that address sagging, wrinkling and discolouration," she said, adding that during her monthly visits to a Dermatologist, she often tried "modern technology stuff". However, she did admit to feeling some of the downsides to ageing, confessing: "I do feel older when my hips act up". But otherwise, she said, she was "excited about turning 60. I feel such a surge of energy".
