Cindy Crawford opens up about Cosmetic Surgery
1 October 2015
Cosmetic Surgery is the worst kept secret in Hollywood with famous faces remaining stubbornly vague and even misleading when it comes to talking about procedures they’ve undergone. One lady who’s bucking the trend, however, is super-model Cindy Crawford. The glamazon has been refreshingly honest about the secrets behind her gorgeous complexion in a series of recent interviews.
Like many women Cindy has found that, while cosmetics feel great and can improve the texture of skin as you age, to get the anti-ageing results she really wanted Non Surgical Treatments were the best option. “I’m not going to lie to myself, past a certain age, creams work on the texture of your skin but, in order to restore elasticity, all I can really count on are vitamin injections, Botox and collagen” the model explained.
The 49 year old admits she hasn’t always been so open to the idea of Cosmetic Treatments and when she was younger didn’t feel that she’d ever had anything done. “I always said I would never do anything, that was when I was 25” the star mused.
Now, Cindy’s concerns are – in a culture where it seems everyone is fighting to slow down signs of ageing – more about knowing when to stop to avoid looking overly ‘done’. She explained, “It’s hard because part of you says ‘OK well I just want to go natural’ but now it’s just a part of our society where so many people are doing it. But then you see some people that are scary and you’re like ‘oh I don’t want to turn out like that’ – is it better to just look old? I’m still trying to figure out where I personally draw my line.”
