Businessman in suitLiposuction, Eye Lift Surgery and Facelift procedures are growing in popularity among the increasing number of men who are looking to keep their looks, according to one Florida cosmetic surgeon. Dr Jeff Scott, who practises in Sarasota, says he has seen this trend first-hand, and has published a blog post listing the three main reasons men give him for looking into Cosmetic Surgery. They are to reduce a sagging belly or the appearance of 'love handles', to counter comments that someone 'looks tired all the time', and to mitigate the effects of ageing around the patient's face and neck.As a result, among his most common procedures are Liposuction, and Facelifts and/or Blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. Regarding recovery times, he says patients should expect to have to wear a compression garment for up to four weeks after a Liposuction procedure, but they should be able to move normally after the second day. And while some swelling and/or bruising is usual after a Facelift or Blepharoplasty, this usually subsides to a level allowing a patient to return to work within 10 days. Dr Scott says his promise to every patient who undergoes a procedure at his clinic is that "you will still look like you" afterwards.
