Reality television star insures breasts for $1m
30 September 2011Holly Madison, star of hit US reality television show The Girls Next Door, has reportedly insured her breasts for $1m. Using the internationally renowned insurance firm Lloyd's of London, the 5'5'' model, who made her name starring alongside playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has taken out a policy which covers her against loss of earnings for up to a cool $1m should anything happens to her breasts.The 31-year-old has been open about having a number of cosmetic surgery procedures performed, including rhinoplasty and a breast augmentation operation. She said the work has undoubtedly made it easier for her to progress in her career as a model and TV star, but along with opening doors for her, she said cosmetic surgery has made her more confident. Madison is currently starring in Peepshow, a topless burlesque show held at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. Speaking to People magazine, she said her boobs play a integral part in her performance which is why she's taken the decision to protect her assets. She said: "I've heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not? "If anything happened to my boobs, I'd be out for a few months and I'd probably be out a million dollars. I thought I'd cover my assets."
