Television star Jenny McCarthy has come out saying that she loves the effects Botox has had on her appearance. Speaking to Michigan Avenue magazine, McCarthy said: "I love Botox, I absolutely love it. "I get it minimally, so I can still move my face. But I really do think it's a saviour."McCarthy made her mark at the beginning of her career in Playboy magazine, but has said that she won't pose for the magazine again. She said: "I'm 36 - not that means I'm 100, but I just really like my clothes on now." In the magazine, McCarthy posed for a six-page spread and said that she stays in shape through Bikram yoga - a form of hot yoga in which the temperature of the room is kept high throughout. McCarthy has also been in the spotlight since writing a book about mothering an autistic child and has increasingly found herself in the spotlight due to her relationship with comedian Jim Carrey, who she says she has no plans to marry. She noted: "I don't feel the need at all to wear a white dress again. I did it. I marked that one off the fantasy file." McCarthy isn't the only celebrity to embrace Botox procedures in order to look their best. Recently, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) reported an increase in the number of celebrities seeking out non-surgical cosmetic procedures in anticipation of the Academy Awards. One surgeon, Michael McGuire, noted that many celebrities see Botox treatments as part of their regular beauty routines, as looking young is important for the livelihood of Hollywood stars.
