About Miss Chloë Wright

Miss Chloë Wright is Consultant Chest Contouring and Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon, and lead for the chest contouring service at Manchester Foundation NHS trust. She has extensive experience in delivery of gender-affirming masculinising top surgery, having performed more than 300 cases. She also has wide experience in breast cancer surgery and aesthetic breast surgery, including breast lift, reduction, augmentation and gynaecomastia correction.

Miss Wright graduated from the University of Manchester in 2003 and completed her general and breast surgical training before being appointed as a training interface group fellow in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. In this period of specialist training, she enhanced her skills in aesthetic breast surgery and sought to further her skills in gender-affirming top surgery. Chloë has a masters degree, awarded with Merit, in Oncoplastic Breast Surgery. She was also awarded the Association of Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland medal for attaining the highest score in the Royal College of Surgeons fellowship examinations.

Chloë is dedicated to delivering high quality, patient-centred care and works closely with her patients to understand their desired outcome. She is a strong advocate for trans rights and is active in research and guideline development to improve the healthcare that trans people receive.
