It’s exciting to be working with The Harley Medical Group to provide fitness advice and consultation to patients across the country. Fitness and well-being play a key role in living a healthy and balanced lifestyle, so I’m looking forward to providing fitness plans and top tips to incorporate fitness into often busy lifestyles – helping people to look and feel their best.
Working as part of The Harley Medical Group expert panel Fitness Expert, Diana Booty will be providing health and fitness advice that can be incorporated into busy lifestyles and also specifically around pre and post treatments in order to get the best results from appointments and to build patient confidence. Diana has a passion for sport and her aim is to help restore balance in people’s often hectic lives. She takes a 360-degree approach to fitness and firmly believes that a balanced lifestyle can be achieved through structured, intelligent, functional fitness programmes, which can help people to incorporate healthy habits into their routines for life.
Diana believes in learning to embrace and nurture our bodies to become our best selves and that once healthy foundations are in place - a balanced lifestyle that includes regular exercise, a nutritionally balanced diet, and a sound mentality towards yourself - then non-surgical treatments can be an option to enhance ourselves, but they shouldn't be viewed as a 'quick fix' route to feeling comfortable in your own skin.
Diana’s passion for sport started at an early age - skiing, rock climbing, hiking, playing netball and hockey competitively for her county and university, kayaking, and more recently, obstacle races, triathlons, half-marathons and the London marathon.
Her sports background is reflected in training sessions – injecting excitement and fun into exercise, encouraging people to rethink the boundaries of what they think is possible and empowering them to shatter the concept of your comfort zone. “If they walk away from our sessions feeling energised, and physically and mentally stronger, then I can go home feeling fulfilled and proud!” says Diana.
Diana’s training methods are drawn from a wide range of disciplines – including weight training, HIIT, calisthenics, Kettlebells, TRX, yoga, running, and cycling – to keep workouts fresh, and build strong, healthy physiques.
Certified in Fitness Instruction, Personal Training, Group Indoor Cycling, Circuit Training and Outdoor Exercise, Diana previously worked with Gymbox and Metabolic in London. Diana is currently working with private clients and studying towards further qualifications in exercise referral and sports conditioning (sports specific training) and is developing her own calisthenics and TRX training.
